The course has been designed to support Risk Managers involved with generic risk and opportunity identification, management, monitoring and improvement, for any organisation.
• Develop a Business Case for the implementation of an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework
• Develop a Risk Management Methodology in accordance with ISO 31000
• Undertake a risk assessment
• Formulate risk mitigation strategies
• Select a suitable risk management software
• Develop a Business Continuity Framework within the ERM Framework in accordance with ISO 22301.

Many of the outcomes and coverage will include references to ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Guidelines; IEC 31010:2019 Risk Management-Risk assessment techniques and ISO Guide 73:2009 Risk management – Vocabulary. These references can be applied across all industry sectors. They will also be able to:
• Ability to analyse and prioritise
• Facilitate a risk workshop
• Deliver risk training
• Formulate policy
• Write reports
• Conduct a risk process audit.

This course is intended to provide participants with the following skills and knowledge to contribute to community outcomes such as:
• Understanding ERM in their context
• Establishing a risk-based culture
• Conducting risk assessments and formulating mitigation strategies
• Preparing business continuity plans
• Identifying suitable risk management software to support the ERM Framework.
