The primary purpose of this qualification is to equip the individuals with advanced skills and knowledge to become a Senior Teacher of Yoga and to be able to teach yoga to a wider audience.
The learning outcomes in this program enable individuals to transfer and apply advanced theoretical concepts and technical skills to a range of situations.
It offers opportunities to explore Yoga teaching at an advanced level with an understanding of the physical, emotional and restorative effects of yoga postures, yoga breathing and relaxation together with facilitating Learners in asana work. Such skills can be applied across a range of roles in a variety of contexts.
Through integrating specialised knowledge and extended practices, and their application in a range of contexts, the yoga teacher can undertake to help clients find mental and physical balance in life, together with paraprofessional and therapeutic yoga practices to suit the individual and group needs and abilities of their clients.
