10726NAT Course in Spoken and Written English for Job Seeking is a component of the Certificates in Spoken and Written English (CSWE), English as an additional language (EAL) curriculum framework.
It is an advanced course for learners who have developed some competence in English language skills and who have had considerable formal or informal exposure to English. It is primarily targeted at overseas-trained migrants and refugees who need to develop higher-level spoken and written English language skills to obtain employment in their fields of training and expertise.
The course also assists learners to develop the associated pragmatic cultural knowledge assumed in an Australian workplace.
This course is intended to provide participants with the following general education outcomes:
•English language proficiency at the equivalent of ISLPR® 3+, IELTS 6.0, CEFR B2.
