This course is designed to provide participants with a range of knowledge and performance skills, to support them to perform functions associated with theology and Christian ministry. It builds generic and specific competencies as a pathway to further learning as expected in these roles
The emphasis of this qualification is also to enable the participant to gain culturally appropriate training suitable for Indigenous leaders in their church communities.
The focus of this qualification builds essential skills and knowledge in theology and Christian Ministry and effective leadership in Indigenous communities, particularly in remote regions including:
• Interpreting and relating Biblical concepts to Ministry work
• Teaching a range of biblical concepts and history
• Providing Christian Ministry and leadership in communities
• Undertaking and providing pastoral care in Indigenous communities
• Undertaking community responsibilities
